Tanesashi Coast

We drove over to the Tanesashi Coast area in Hachinohe. This place is so gorgeous. We instantly fell in love with the grass beach and the rugged rocks. We didn't even make it to the sandy beach. We had too much fun climbing on rocks, looking in tide pools, and enjoying the view.

Simeon especially loved climbing on the rocks.

He has started trying to pose for pictures by tilting his head to his shoulder. It's pretty dang cute.

After walking along the trail for a bit, we found a place to climb down closer to the ocean.

Caleb is not a fan of the ocean, but he loved throwing rocks in this tide pool.

This little beach that we found was covered in broken pieces of shells that had been worn smooth. The marks and colors from the ridges are still there and I think that is really cool.

The grass beach has a camping area with this huge fire pit. Seth wants to come back to camp here. I'm not so sure how good of an idea it is to camp on the coast when the sun rises at 4am.

Whether we camp or not, we will definitely be returning to Tanesashi.
