Tokyo Day 3: Disney Sea

There are so many things to do in Tokyo that it's really hard to decide how to prioritize our time on a trip like this. I cut so many things out of my initial planning, and then ended up cutting more things from my final plan. Planning a trip to Tokyo means making tough decisions on how to spend our time. Deciding to dedicate a day to Disney Sea was not a tough decision, however. We love Disney Sea, and we know we may not get another chance to visit - at least not for many years.

If you want more specifics or to see more pictures of the rides and areas of Disney Sea, then check out my blog post from last year.

Unfortunately this year our Spring Break overlapped with the Japanese school vacation. Last year we got to experience walking onto rides with little to no wait time. This year we had to experience waiting in line for rides and trying to maximize our fast-passes. Most rides ended up with 40 minute wait times (longer for the really popular rides), but we were able to use our fast passes on all of our favorites.
Waiting in line for Aquatopia

He loved Aquatopia. Such a cutie.

Mermaid Lagoon is one of our favorite areas of Disney Sea. My kids just love running around the play area - good thing since the actual rides were insanely crowded.
I wonder if now he'll finally cross the rope bridge at the Weasel's Den.

He loves that bell. He loves ringing it VERY loudly.

I had to sneak a picture of the Mermaid Lagoon Theater

Waiting in line for Flounder's Flying Fish Coaster: the only roller coaster Alivia will ride

While we waited in line, Seth and Caleb went off to get fast passes and food. They rode the boat that takes you from one side of the park to the other.

Seth made sure to keep us well stocked on popcorn throughout the day. Chocolate is our favorite.

Heading to the Arabian Coast

My favorite ride. Even on a day like this the wait time was only 10 minutes. It has the most amazing music, tells a fun story, and is beautifully designed. Someone tell me why this isn't a Disney movie yet.

A little door just his size

Alivia and I enjoyed taking a look at the Easter Display:

For our last ride of the day, we had fast passes to Indiana Jones. We even convinced Alivia to give it a try (which was a mistake). We killed time at the Fortress until our fast pass time.
Simeon said the cannons are his favorite thing in the park. Our kids could fire them for hours.

I just love that the volcano erupts

After two days of driving around Tokyo, we were finally starting to feel more comfortable with it. We were able to enjoy the scenery a bit more. We also had very little traffic on the way home.
The sky tree doesn't show up well in pictures from a distance, but it's the purplish building in the background.

We had a great day. Disney Sea is never a disappointment, even when it's crowded.
