Tokyo Day 4: J-World

Friday was supposed to be rainy, so we made plans to spend time indoors. We headed towards Ikebukuro in Tokyo so that we could visit J-World inside the Sunshine 60 building. We had plans to do other things inside Sunshine City, but we had a lot of fun at J-World and ended up spending all of our time there, after a brief stop at the Pokemon Center.

The main attraction for us inside of J-World was, of course, the Dragon Ball area:

 Riding the Flying Nimbus

She's a scary Saiyan

He really loved this little space pod

Tough guy

I'm a turtle, ha ha

Time to hunt some Dragonballs

Our favorite thing was learning the Kamehameha with Goku. It was a really fun VR type game - short but awesome.

meeting Goku

Punching Frieza

Alivia was scared of Freeza until I told her she could fight him. Frieza was a good sport about being elbowed in the stomach.

This game was definitely Simeon's favorite. We rode these cars many many times

Entrance to Konoha Willige.

Like a Ninja

Summoning Practice

Ichiraku Ramen

Pretending to eat food

Caleb spent a lot of time stacking these cubes.

We had a lot of fun geeking out at J-World! Sunshine City has several attraction museums like this one, lots of shopping, an aquarium and an observatory. You could easily spend a full day there (and still not do everything) if you find yourself in Tokyo on a rainy day.
