Shimoda Swan Park
We stopped by the Shimoda Swan Park on our way out to the mall one evening. It was chilly and getting dark so we didn't stay very long, but we loved this park. There were so many fun things, and we will definitely make frequent visits once the weather warms up.
We were hoping to see some swans. I did see a lot of them flying overhead, but none in the pond. Turns out there were a lot on the pond down the road.
We didn't end up climbing the tower. it was closed due to giant killer hornets.
We still were able to get a beautiful view of the park.
You live so close to soooo many cool places! Except the giant killer hornets thing. O_o
ReplyDeleteLooks fun. I was expecting to see like 5 feet of snow though. Have you guys seen any of those hornets in the flesh yet?
ReplyDeleteThis was back in November. We didn't get any serious snow here until after Christmas (this year anyway). I've seen some smaller hornets but no giant ones. 😁
