Tokyo Day 2: Tama Hills and Showa Park
During our time in Tokyo, we stayed at Tama Hills Recreation Center, a facility owned by Yokota Air Base. We stayed in the lodge, in a standard hotel room, but cabins and camping areas are also available on site. We decided to have a laid back day, so we spent the morning enjoying the activities available at Tama Hills.
After mini-golf we did some archery. The kids loved it.
After archery we walked down to the stables to pet the horses. Horseback riding is available, but we didn't want to spend the extra time.
After resting for a bit, we spent the afternoon at Showa Park. We were hoping to be able to see lots of cherry blossoms, but we were unfortunately about two days too early. We saw some blooms, but the trees were only about halfway bloomed. The park is beautiful though and we enjoyed walking around. Mostly we enjoyed the Children's Forest area of the park. The kids had fun climbing and jumping in this fun area of the park.

I think Caleb's favorite activity may have been pushing his stroller around
This boy loves dirt
Jumping on these was definitely a favorite
I'm pretty proud of little nerdlets for calling this "Snake Way"
I have far too many pictures to post. We had so much fun. We could have easily spent an entire day at Showa Park, but we also enjoyed our laid-back morning at Tama Hills.
