Shimin no Mori Park

We decided to do some local exploring. We visited Shimin no Mori park (aka Misawa Citizens Forest), which is just north of base. In fact it is so close to base, you could spit at it through the fence on North Base. Unfortunately there is no way to get there without driving all the way down to main base, around the air port, and back up to the park. Seth joked that in the future we should rent a canoe from he base beach, and paddle our way over to the park, since both are on Lake Ogawara.

We had fun enjoying a beautiful walk and exploring the fun play area.
